The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is an online platform launched by the Government of India to provide a single-window solution for various central, state, and UGC scholarship schemes. It simplifies the process of application, verification, approval, and disbursement of scholarships to students.

The main objective of NSP is:

• To ensure transparent and direct transfer of scholarship funds to students.

• To reduce duplication and fake applications.

• To provide equal educational opportunities to students from economically weaker sections.
